how to connect my 8600 to a TV.

i have a 8600GT 256MB DDR3
which has 2 DVI connectors, and i have a TV LG which has the normal jacks.
now how do i connect my pc to my TV.

what cables do i need and if possible mention the price.

^^ you have have got a svideo to AV coverter with your card, connect that to the svideo port and the other end to the TV , switch to the AV on your TV and goto control panel > nvidia settings, from here you can enable TV out, usually it will automatically get detected.

ok i got the video output.

now how do i get the audio from the tv and the pc speakers.

this is how they are connected.

8600GT is connected to a 8pin cable which has 4 color jacks.
yellow- video
red - audio
green
blue

now also my mother board has a SPDIF out connector.
i tried connecting the red to that and to my TV.

but i did not get any sound.

i also have one more querry.
the TV is 21" what is the best res i can set and at what referesh rate.

you have to connect the Audio input of TV to the Audio Out/Line Out of you computer.

EDIT: if you can then please post the screenshot of the cable.

And chicha.. the red blue green is to connect to you DVD input of TV , the red doesnot carry audio .

untitled is the end which goes to my TV.
untitled2 is the one from which i connect the cable to the TV.
