Default HD transmission


hey guys ,i heard a few weeks back that tatasky is soon going to swap to HD transmission .Is this true? I really doubt it. Are there any chances of hd transmission in india in this year

u dont need HD broadcast to use HDTVs--Blurays HDDVD

until the day u can buy an HDTV 4 10K in India, the broadcast signal will continue to remain non-HD in India

And how much content do u think is available on hddvds? Is this content enuf for indian households who live on soaps and other content available on tv only?

didnt Tata & Sky have the mny & the resources to deply MPEG4 hardware when going for DTH.?!?
