Cable Cut Restored ??
It seems like the cable cut has been restored as my speed of internet has returned to normal. It was damn slow 2 days ago ??? Any news about this ?

My connection speed has ramped up to 256 nd sometimes higher nd i really have only 128....So nowim downloading as much as i can. Sometimes i get more than 48KBps nd never lower than 32....lol

Yesterday my vsnl slowed down greatly.ping times were over 4500 mili seconds.then it became normal again in an hour

@praka, following the 2wire link i found my speed to be 136kbps which is right for me. I have 150kbps conn. from Reliance Communications Ltd.

I am also able to download at full speed now........Getting above 200KB/s in Torrents but HTTP transfers are still slow (around 35KB/s. Even the Forum is loading faster...........

i found that clean audio streaming doesn't work on dhingana.com which suggests that the problem still persists.

According to reports, the repair ship is waiting to get permission from the local authorities to start work and hopefully, everything will be back to normal in about ten days!!!

Now im getting even higher speed than before. My connection is 128kbps, nd now in getting 48KBps, ie 384kbps unlimited for last 2 days.
