help my dvd rom identifies cd but not any dvd
i tought threis aproblem with digit dvd as april fool prank but even the chip dvd doesn't work

get the drive examined from service center, the lens might need cleaning/service.

besides, in case you aren't able to read the April '05 di9it dvd, dun worry, the april '05 di9it dvds aren't working; AFAIK.

such a fool's day joke would be really costly for them
none of the april '05 dvds seem to work

Hi! GUys, my problem is exactly opposite..
My DVD-ROM drive reads all DVDs and good quality CDs (like original music CDs and other CDs from different ompanies, DIGIT CDs, etc.)
But, it does not read any CDs which have been written by my frnd or anybody in a CD-Writer ? ? ? What is wrong?
Also, in my Apr 2005 DVD, the DVD runs but no programs or wallpapers are getting installed... I mean all the setups/programs show the icon of a DOS application. Moreover, starting any of the wallpapers, it says no preview available???
Plz solve the above problems too..
