Default 3d Modelling


I'm intrested in learning 3d Modelling.
Which software is good for beginner.
Does someone know of a good link where i can find tutorials about them.
Is this something which can be learned by anyone (even without artistic talent

3D Max + Maya + softiamge xsi + Modo ....

^^ But concentrate on only one.Maya and Max both are very big softwares.I am learning maya.

Is Maya A software which we can learn ourself? or do i need to go to some institute for at least the basic?

If you are a biginner .. I suggest u learn Blender3D first.. Its free Opensource... And will give a rough idea on how to manage biggies like maya and 3ds max...
