Default .mpg again


so i tried the cds on a windows xp computer and the cds worked fine. but they dont on my win 98. dont tell me its something about codecs as even the most primative video softwares play .mpg. my cd drive says that there is no cd inserted!!! i cant upgrade to xp. help someone. thanks in advance

does other cd's (mpg) work? if not reinstall win98

Hi
If the CD is a low cost one, sometimes ur drive may not recognise it.. I faced the same problem... and I trashed the CD....
