Default AVI files to CD


i have i movie in 2 AVI files ( size 698 mb total). how to burn those on CD ? will that work on my dvd player ? if not what is the solution ? i tried avi to vcd option but that increses the size of a file to almost double.

use Nero it has an option to burn avi file that can play in dvd player

which nero version ? is it freeware ? i have nero 6...not possible with that.

Firstly you need to check if your DVD player supports DivX. If it supports then you can directly burn the AVI file as data and play it on your DVD player. Since you have a DVD Player and not a VCD player I would suggest you to convert the AVI file to DVD. Do you have a DVD writer with you? If you have then you can use NeroVision which is Part of Nero 6. In tht you have an option to create DVD. That should work. Still if any issues let me know. AVI to VCD will not be a wise option. You may have to burn atleast 2 CD's. So if you have a DVD writer go for AVI to DVD using NeroVision.
