Default add a hotkey to any app..

Is there any way that i can add a hotkey to any app in windows..i.e, when i press a combination of keys that software launches..

I know one way via changing the shortcut key in the properties of the link of the software..
Is there any other way..most preferrably a registry way...

Why do you want registry tweaking....I think changing through properties is much easier than any other ways..

this is because i want to create a hotkey for my own developed software so that it will be available for other computers...so registry is the only option
