Default disappearing of CD data

· Is there any possibility of disappearing of our Data, taken from History or Favorites or Outlook Express, on the Rewritiable CD-ROM OR writable CD-ROM after some or long time? If so,Is there any solution for to avoid this?

Yup it is possible DUDE if u r not using a good WRITABLE/RE WRITABLE CD, u can lose ur data stored on Cds that u burn, coz i hv faced problem burning data on cheap Cds and then losing out on my data wen after sum time(3-4 weeks) i autorun them, the data seems to be (sumwat) lost.

SO my advice would be to invest atleast sum more BOOTY (money) on good, branded CDs LIKE ----> MOSER BAER,SONY,SAMSUNG etc.

NEver go for cheap, local made Cds, coz after all its ur data wich is precious so u wont mind spending sum extra cash on good Cds RITE !!

Well Buddy ! hv u burned or copied the software onto a blank SONY cd from the original one !! if yes then there can be a loss of data while burning ur cd if there r other activities goin on in ur PC like ANITVIRUS running in backgroung, screen saver running or any other activities like wen u r connected to the net and a firewall is running.

well the safest thing to do is that while u r burning the Cds, close any programs running on ur PC like Wallpapers, screen savers, antivirus programs, firewall and offline from net.

Coz there has been a loss of data while these programs r running, so wen the burning is in progress plz do not do any other thing on PC jus for safety, coz after all ur data burning is more important RITE !! neways just post ur results here if u hv any other problems....

cheers n peace.....

thats why we have BURN proof technology
it would be very rare to loose data while writing to a cd

as for loss of data ur good for 8-10 yrs if u take good care of ur cd's

gold pigment cdr's have a longer lifetime !

there is no solution ...
take care of ur cd's and they'll work till their lifetime ... u cant really bring a person back from the dead can u ?
samething applies to a busted cd
