no writing only reading

hi guys
i have a comp running p4 3.4Ghz 512 Mb ram....... n the rest running win XP and nero 6. i also have a dvd writer. the prob is that i am not able to write cds. I also tried using real player to copy the music files to a cd but it si,ply doesnt work. Itjust says that the burn process has been completed successfully. But when the cd is inserted back, it doesnt show the files at all. completely blank. one more thing. when i insert the same cd or any other blank cd, it shows that the free space as well as the capacity of the cd is only 576 mb. this prob started showing up only a few days ago. However there is no prob in reading the cds or dvds. pls advice... thnx in advance

u said dat d problem started only a fe days back, so wat was it dat u did on dat day

i suggest dat u enable d verification process after burning d disk

use sum good optical disk, like a moser baer or sony at least while u r facin d problem

try and c if you r able to access d data dat was burned on ur disks, but invisible otherwise usin IsoBuster 2.3
