Image editor Needed , help for starting a web page too

Guys i need an image editor that can reduce the size of image under a fixed size

i am planning to start a web page for wallpapers ..the images are around 6 Mbs in size , so i need to reduce the images to save bandwidth.

need software for watermarking too.

can this be done with photo shop ?

Need help in finding out the right plan for getting a server and domain for the same


please help me

not sure if resizing of images according to target file size is possible or not, but u can use Irfanview to resize [dimensions] or reduce the size of the image
but if u got photshop u can do it in dat 2

photoshop can do anything with images

but a FREEWARE solution to watermarking images is waterMark V2

P.S.: Watermarked Wallpaper!!!! not going 2 b on my desktop 4 sure
i suggest dat u put ur logo or name on any one of the corners [a la Sanatabanta] instead of a watermrk covering the whole image

just make sure you have the necessary rights to watermark and redistribute the wallpapers(incase you don't produce them from scratch!)

none of the pic s are copied all are shot by my friend.

some one please explain how to reduce sizes in three qualities ..that too in batch ..editing single images one by one is impossible ...

Watermarks on the image is gonna be transparent at the very right bottom corner , that too very tiny image for reference
