Default .Mpg problem


.mpg and divx files arent working on my windows 98 celeron computer. what should i do?

Hmm..., get Gspot, it tells u what codec u have and wht not, if any thing is missing then install it.

Or use VLC video lan player, it has in built codecs.

It is a problem with your codec only.. The problem is NOT your Celeron processor . Get a gd player, and reqd codecs.. If that doesnt work, just reinstall windows.. u never knw...

ok so i just tried the cds on a windows xp laptop with combo drive and they worked great. i dont want to leave my windows 98. i have the required codec for .mpg files (ofcourse). is there something i can do? my computer doesnt even read the disc. so do my vcd players.
