how 2 disable right click???

i want 2 kno how 2 disable right click in VISTA.In winXP i used 2 disable right click from regedit bt this trick is not working in vista.

u can do dat from gpedit

just enable Remove Windows Explorer's default context menu option

User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Explorer

and 2 disable right click of task bar and start menu a taskbar just enable d Remove access to the context menus for the taskbar option

User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Start Menu and Taskbar

P.S. d path mentioned is from Win Server 2K3, vista may have d same path

If you are using XP Home Edition and can't use "gpedit.msc" or if you want to use Registry Editor to disable context menu or if you want to write scripts fot it, then open regedit and goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

And in right-side pane, create new DWORD value "NoViewContextMenu" and set its value to 1.

To disable Taskbar context menu, create new DWORD value "NoTrayContextMenu" and set its value to 1.

PS: Same things will happen if you'll use gpedit.msc trick mentioned by slugger.
