Gona buy a TV..suggest me guys.

I presently have a 29 inch sony tv bought 3 years back.now my mom is taking my sony tv and she promised me to get me one..whichever i suggest..

So suggest me one..

I prefer Size more than my present one...

if money no constraints then dont look 4 anything other than a Sony - buy a 40" or 32"

What should i consider ,a normal flat one or plasma,with hd ready, in future i may buy PS3,.. I am just confused guys.i may most probably go for sony only.
Please i need more info on it.

if u want plasma,then panasonic would be the best choice
if u want LCD, then samsung would be the best choice..

however since u plan of buying a PS3, its better u go for HD ready plasma(better than LCD anyday)

How are the service and do yöü know the price?are they 42 and 40 inch respectively?
And one more question...is there a tv which doesnt black out inbetween each channel change?its really irritating in the night...

Sony TV's are way too expensive.

i bought 42" LG LCD TV [time shift] for 96k (inc. taxes), while a Sony 36" costs more.

sure Sony has quality, it doesnt mean the other brands dont give quality.

my opinion- get a samsung or othr tv & a Sony HT

when it comes to sound, nothing beats a Sony (in mid range)

and watch many dvd movies..

wht do u suggest .. sony in my expirience is good only if u pour money..

lots of money = loads of feature..

i havent tried anyother brand ...

and this is my call , i have to decide the best and mostly it will be there for say next 5-7 years,.,, so cant make a mistake here...

and wht shall i need to put in a media center pc.. say ... will it support that resolution...

help me in this area also..

my tv supports 1024x768 resln. max.

you can get a 40"/42" TV with loads of features, in the money you put for a Sony 32".

like in my tv, there's a in-built 80GB HDD, on which we can record live tv, PIP, HDMI...

so, for 1.2lakh, i've got a huge screen & a Home Theatre

yup

i'd suggest you to go for Samsung or Panasonic.

take LG as last option & "time shift sereis" as the only option in LG TV's

try to get a HDTV.
go to some showroom & take a look at them, MAN!!! its so awesome.

well in my place and all ... we dont have so much of hangouts... like coffe day, spencer, music world, park , beach and all...

all we have is this idiot box..

thats why..
and dont forget we have Pc`s and latest games....( how long can u play a single player game ..) and also we dont have broadband and stuck with the ancient dialup
