Default trojan horse


can n e one give me some idea abt dis trojan horse



trojan horse PSW.Generic5.ZKd

all my accounts were hacked some days back

was this trojan da culprit?

It is also known as Keylog-Ardamax. Check it out here: http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_116785.htm

Its a keylogger btw and will log all your keystrokes....

Definitely, it is a keylogger and will log your keystrokes and send it to an email ID. When you used to sign in your Mail, it logged your ID and password and sent it to the person via email who had implanted it on your system. Your passwords were hacked because of this.

I guess Rounit you are using AVG as AVG detects it with the name you posted PSW.Generic5.ZKD

actually i got an exe from my friend named iqtest.exe

(its is that trojan horse that i entioned)

If you can buy an AntiVirus, then I would suggest you NOD32 or Kaspersky. They are far better than AVG.

Avast Home Edition is pretty good Free AV!!

if avast doesn't then try AVG 7.5.0.503, it detects this type of generic trojans

^^ He is is already on AVG btw....I know because of the detected trojan's name (PSW.Generic5.ZKD) .
