Default Curiously Sticky!!

Hi Guys!!
I recently downloaded a software called Free Sticky notes!
I did not find it too appealing and so uninstalled it within a few days!
The uninstall was complete....
and yet even now when i boot windows the Free Sticky notes program also starts and is everpresent in the taskbar
however i cant find the program either in the Uninstall programs window or in the hard disk
What could be the reason for such stickiness??
Any way out? A registry edit perhaps? (i'm not too good at it!)
Please help

This happens with programs which are not written properly or simply because a good uninstall module is not included with the software. This basically does delete the folders containing the software but is not able to remove the registry entries it made during installation.

The solution to your problem is, go to START ---> RUN --- then type regedit --- next click on the + sign next to the entry HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Software , here you will find the entry related to the product u installed, either the company name or the product name entry will be available here, select it and press DEL from the keyboard. Then press F5 from the keyboard for the changes to take effect.

Also click on the entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> Software and similarly remove unwanted entries from here also.

Note : Before u edit the registry, take backup of the entire registry first.

Get RegSupreme and install it. Boot in SAFE Mode, and perform a "Deep" scan using RegSupreme, and remove all the entries it finds.
Go to Start> Programs> StartUp>, and remove if there are any link to Sticky Program.
Also, get CCleaner and CleanUp!, and run both of them in safe mode.
