make web link ! ! !

i have abt 55 web links on a notepad .... wanna convert them 2 valid html links & work on a webpage ....

in dreamweaver, simply coping them on 2 a new pg doesnt work .... & selecting each link & clinking on "make link" takes time .......

how 2 i convert them as WORKING links ? any faster way ....

I have a solution This may sound funny lol

Copy all 55 links to any forum. Just the URLS. When you post or take review you can see the forum has addedm them as link but not with <a href => tag but with [url] tag

Now, open in any text editor, replace the url (find and replace - just one click) tag by a href tag.

Hope that works !!

Even more easy way !!

Post all url here. They will get converted to links auto. Save this page, open it in DW, copy all links

Paste it in MS word and save as a webpage If it doest make a link, at the end of link, press return

Hmm, I am not sure why the solution is not ok for you. The solution I mentioned works in Dreamweaver as well.

Once you get the code, you can copy paste in Dreamweaver isn't it ? (code view, not design view) Isn't it simple ? Any problems in doing so ?

Sorry if I didn't understand your requirement.

Or just copy paste the 55 links here, I will send the html in a minute.

Sometimes MS Word add unwanted code in HTML.

Dreamweaver code is always clean and pure HTML.

Here , i have attached a Program to do this .

The usage is:
ParseLinks <Filename>

By default:
1) The filename is "links.txt" if you don't provide any name
2) Outputs to the console
3) Outputs to the file "output.html"

Thats correct, but thats the simplest methodi could think of , because Word is something which is available on almost PC for free and users are comfortable with it
