Default need help


Hi. I have an broadband connection<home plan 500>. I want it to be always on when a switch on my pc. every time i have to connect it. i want it should be always on as soon as a open my pc. tell me the way please.

1.open ur browser.
2.type 192.168.1.1
3.type in the password and username 'admin' unless u have changed the both.
4.then run the router wizard on the home page of the router.
5.there select ur time zone and all that and select pppoe/pppoa mode in the conn. type selection.
6.enter ur telephone no. as username and CA no.(cud be found on the bill) as password.
7.reboot the router.
ur connection will always be on then.
i hope u got the D-link DSL-502T router.

BSNL modem default:
username-->>admin
password-->>admin

abtom what you said only works in case of a backbone router, but ravi said through a wan ppp protocol by ATM, which is always for a broadband

i use this method for my dsl 502-t router and all the dlink router r more or less same.
bsnl also gives the same router which m using.

hi. I have tried your way but it does work becoz my server say "protected" and auth fails.

consumer account or austomer account no.
u will find it on the top of ur bill
