Default Suggest the best CMS for website

So i want i website CMS.

My requirements:

1.Should be free
2.Should load acceptably fast or can load acceptably slow but not too much.
3. i want it for my home page.My website currently has a blog and a forum so see that they work properly.I also may want to add a gallery+downloads to site.
4. should have good templates and support

So what would be your pick.
I have drupal and joomla in mind(im slightly tilted towards joomla)

can anyone give +/- of joomla? i heard it sometimes get very slow.

and i would also want a gallery software.
my thoughts so far:
1. 4images
2. gallery
3. coppermine

note:i want gallery only for providing a few downloadable wallpapers only,no log in etc required,so i guess"gallery" will do.

coppermine is good the best part is it has db merging with phpbb2 (not 3 as of now) ipb and vb which means users dont need to re-register for the gallery

as for cms i have not tried many but joomla is used quite commonly

According to your requirements..I think phpnuke will be best.
Intergrated phpbb, download column.

Give a try to phpnuke.

considering the fact that u are using phpbb3 and wp go for coppermine coz they will definitely provide phpbb3 integration and wp already has phpbb3 integration so phpnuke will be good as in 1 user db for everything ...

k.
and whats the advantage of using only one db?
i mean disadvantage can be that if one db suffers, the whole site can go kaput.everything will be lost.
isnt it better to have different db's?

1 db means that the user tables will be managed by phpbb and not coppermine ... it wont be 1 db as in only 1 database in phpmyadmin there will be 2 databases but the user login will done by phpbb and not coppermine
