Do you need a credit to register in paypal?

I just wonder whether we need credit card to register in paypal or not. Does any one has a idea? If yes, and if I have to make one credit card like VISA or MASTER CARD, where and how can I make. The place would be somewhere near by Bhutan and easy for me to use it.

Registration don't need any credit card........
However you need a credit card to get your paypal account verified.

U can get ur account verified using virtual credit card.HDFC back issue virtual credit card.

U can even get ur paypal account verified at some webmaster forum like digital point for 5-6 paypal dollar...using virtual credit card.

No you dont need any Credit Card to Register in Paypal

1 ) However if you want to purchase any product than you need a valid CC to add funds to your Paypal A/c

also on 1st register paypal a/c is unverified
that means they have not verified your address, CC etc..
so their is a process of verifying where they charge 2$ as a verifying charges to your CC and a 4 digit no appreas on your CC statement and you have to enter that 4 digit no to your a/c to get verified

2) so inshort you need CC to verify your Paypal A/c
