Default FDC Failure


When i boot my machine i get an error that says FDC failure and i am unable to boot. And sometimes it says Checking NVRAM...NV Ram not found and sometimes it does not. What do i do

FDC = Floppy Disk Controller.
Reasons:-
1] Floppy Drive is gone.
2] Floppy Drive data cable is loose.
Check the cables both power and data, of the FDD. If youstill receive error, check the FDD by putting it in another Computer.

Also, try to clear/reset your BIOS settings and see if that clears the NVRAM error message. You may need to flash your BIOS to the latest version if that doesn't work. The chances of a BIOS corruption are pretty low, but it has been known to happen.
