Chkdsk problem

When i turn on my computer Chkdsk for local disk d starts everytime. How 2 stop dis.

go to my computer, right click on D drive > Properties > Tools > Error Checking... Here make sure everything is unchecked..

Try running chkdsk after booting into the recovery console.

can easily run chkdsk from recovery console or run command (Start > Run)

does chkdsk starts while booting..or it starts in XP.

same thing happened to me 3 to 4 months age.
It start in boot screen.

off topic :

when i try 2 chkdsk, it performs & after sometime it starts AGAIN .... & reports as some application interfering .....

wanna perform this & keeping my monitor OFF ...... whot 2 do ?

^^ u could try chkdsk on the recovery console, it may take sometime, but it does the necessary.

like v have 4 defraging .... [ O&O, auslogics & many freewares ] .........
