Question recover document

guys, i have a problem.. i have a cd which has a few folders of pictures and a few folders having word docs...

the pics are all fine and have no problems with it.. my problem is that i cannot open my word documents at all from the cd .. nor can i copy those files..

when i try to copy the files it says "access denied" i tried creating an image and then mount it using DAEMON tools..but again the same problem.. what should i do ??
