Default Fan Noisy when Gaming

Hi,
I have an AMD Athlon64 2800+ system with ASUS VIA based Motherboard, 512MB RAM, 80 GB HDD SATA, ATI Radeon 9600, Creative Inspire 4.1 and combo drive. The cabinet is Zebronics Shivaji which came with 400W power supply and 2 side fans.
When I am playing games, the fans (not sure if it is a particular one or all) become a bit noisy as if they are straining. I am not sure if this is normal or if my system is getting overheated... Please tell me if this is serious and what to do...
Thanx in advance,
Arun

During gaming, the PC components become stressed, so the fan RPM goes high to cool the components (in the case of active cooling) So if there is dust on the fan blades, this might be causing the noise. Clean the fan blades, and check for all the screws, and tighten if any is loose. Always keep proper airflow inside the cabinet for proper cooling. Tie loose wires. All this should cure the problem. If the noise still persists, then the fans or fan might be having something loose. Remove and inspect them.
