Question joining two computers


Heys friends,
CAn you please help me with this:
I want to connect two PCs via a lan cable without any external port.
Both have network adapters.Main aim is file sharing and playing multiplayer(Mainly CS).Is it possible
please explain.!!!

Yep, it is possible. If both your systems have a LAN connection, all you need is a cross-cable (basically a LAN cable with a few wires changing positions so that one feeds the data and another accepts them) - give static IP addresses to both your LAN adaptors and connect and enjoy.... but that is IF both your systems have a LAN connection.

hi dude its very simple just implement a cross cable. In easy words if the distance is not too far **** all the standards and punch one end with whatever combinations as you wish.



On the other end you replace 1 with 3 and 2 with 6 at the other end, and WALLAH your cross cable is ready.

search on net....u can easily get DIY guides for connectin thru lan... use google b4 postin
