Default BIOS Checksum Error ...

Hello,

Whnever i start my system, after the POST routines i get an error message stating "BIOS checksum error, Press F4 to resume". And after pressing F4 i am taken to the BIOS menu where I have to do nothing. Just press Esc key and the system starts.

Please if anyone knows what can be the solution then let me know. Should I change the CMOS battery ? This problem is really irritating me . . .

Your CMOS Battery is drained, try replacing it!

First replace your CMOS Battery, and if that doesn't work, then think about flashing your BIOS.

just change ur battery ...
open ur CPU
u will find big "watch like battery"
remove it
goto to the nearby computer shop ... or watch store ..
get it replaced by the same specification ...
insert it in ur CPU frm where u removed the older one ...
and bingo ur PC starts as normal ...

when u get that message ... u will need to do just this in 99% of the cases
