i use vista premium home.
and i am not able to go the ADMINISTRATOR user.
i tried so many times by hitting "Ctrl+Alt+Del" but the damn thing does not work.
is it cause its not ultimate or so?
cause in XP home too there are some things missing which are there in XP Pro.

There is no default admin user in Vista.
The account that you first made on install is by default the admin account.
Also Task manager starts by Ctrl+Alt+Esc.

I use Ultimate and theres no admin in it too, so I think it doesn't exist in any version then.
About the text file, I don't know, maybe some security mesaure???
You could try disabling UAC and then creating files if absoultely necessary. But remember to turn UAC back on..
Hope this helps..
