Default Build a New PC with some old componets

Hello friends,

Right now I have the following configuration:

P3 750 mhz
Sis 630e mobo
128 SD ram
20 gb samsung hdd, 80gb Seagate baracudda 7200rpm
14inch monitor
Atx cabinet
16x Dvd rom
12x Hp cdwriter
Altec Lansing 621 (200rms)

I am planning to build up a New computer strictly for animation, designing
and very low gaming purpose..

I will keep my old pc only for accounting works

thus will use my extra components like 80gb hdd, dvdrom, writer and speaker for my new pc.

The things i have to buy is a Amd based cpu, mobo, ram, gfx card, cabinet. and second hand 17inch monitor
My Budget is around 20-23k(max)

For the cpu and mobo i have 2 choices in mind

1. Amd 64 2800+ & Asus K8N (non-deluxe) - Rs.10500
2. Amd 64 3000+(939pin) & MSI mobo - Rs. 14000

Ram
1. Zion 512 DDR 3200 - Rs. 3350
( cant opt for brand like kingston, transcend as they are scarcely found in my city )

Cabinet
I box with 400 watts Smps Rs 1200

Graphic Card
1. 128 mb FX5200 Rs. 2500
2. 128 Radeon 4550 Rs 5000 (if they are available in my city & fits my budget)

Monitor
1. 17 inch Flat monitor SH (dell,ibm) - Rs 3000 - black

Mice & K/B
1. Have an extra pair in home.

Help me out friends and suggest me if you have better alternatives ....

Socket 939 for future upgradibility and PCi-express Also the MSI mobo you mentioned will support PCIE graphics cards while u have mentioned agp cards below.

You can try contacting the distys for kingston cuz iirc they ship all over india.

I-Box plain sucks ! also get a better PSU like powersafe/VIP to avoid any problems later.

This would totally depend on the board u choose............
