can anyone tell me the diff between copys of softwares called as OEM,

Such as........

# Windows XP Professional: WXPCCP_EN
# Windows XP Home: WXHCCP_EN
# Windows XP Professional OEM: WXPOEM_EN
# Windows XP Home OEM: WXHOEM_EN

OEMs buy computers in bulk and customize them for a particular application. They then sell the customized computer under their own name. The term is really a misnomer because OEMs are not the original manufacturers -- they are the customizers.

OEM stands 4 original equipment manufacturer. it means that the software company has developed a particular software 4 a PC manufacturer. these software generally come without ne manuals or extras. sometimes they r stripped down versions of the original software
