Default Problems with DrDivx!!!!!


i recently downloaded dr divx 1.0.6 n encoded some of my mpeg1 movies
here are the probs i faced...
1.Video n audio doesnt go together (audio comes later than video)
2.after encoding, when i play the movie, the video stops playing midway but the audio keeps playin till the end
3.will the settings b different if i have to encode DVD movies to Divx movies.
If anyone out there can help me with the settings i need to do n solve these pros, i wud really b grateful
i Have intel 2.0 ghz processor n win xp sp2

i faced the same problem when i played DivX files using WMP, the problem was solved by using DivX player. Hope it works for u too. DivX player is bundled with Dr.DivX.

I think Dr. divX encoding is not that great, my opinion use a different tool for encoding, like AutoGK
www.autogk.me.uk
its free, it has a selection of encoders to chose from and it does the calculations better...give it a try !
i use it mainly for backing up my DVD collection ...very nicely encoded all of 'em.
