i have assigned only 40 gb 2 my c drive ..........
how much space have u assigned 2 ur C drive or 4 ur OS ?

6 Gig in my 160 gig HDD. . . I've a seperate partition for Program Files ranging 80 gig

When i had 40GB hardrive few yrs back 4GB...now 20GB with 320GB hardrive  I only keep C for OS.....and load image on C every month or tow

as what would u do after knowing the C drive space it can be 2 GB or 200 GB  as nothing depends on whats the size of C partition

Yes it Does , Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Requires 6GB on Windows Drive in Addition to Space on any other drive .
Currently my C Drive is 40 Gig .

ya ..... cdrive generally has OS & then v start installing Softwares, Games etc ...
so eventually the list becomes endless & thus v do need more space ....
now i can install many softwares or games till some disk space is occupied ....... THATS more FUN 4 me ....

F: 40 FILMS(1.2GB FREE)
rest is used to keep software and pc linux os

Vista requires @11Gb of which 1Gb is for hibernation and @1.3GB for pagefile. like the guy above me said depends on your OS.
