[PayPal] Some URGENT Queries for an Unverified Account

Hi guys

I need some help. Actually I need a paypal account so I created one for me. But it shows "Status: Unverified". When I clicked on it, it asks for Credit Card number. Now the problem is I don't hv Credit Card and my ICICI Bank Debit Card is not working even it has VISA logo on it.

So I wanted to know:

1. If I use my PayPal e-mail address for transactions, will I get money in my PayPal account even its not verified?

2. If I get money, How will I be able to withdraw money from the account? Can I transfer money from my PayPal account to someone else account without verifying my account?

NO u cant... though there are some long routes like finding some one who has one account which verified then send the money to him ask him to withdrawn and then manually receive the money from that person !!!

Yes u can send money to another paypal users email address but you cant actually use it for purchase some thing !!!

yes..but unverified account limit is only 100 USD.

1. Yes, you can receive money. no problem
2. Yes, you can even withdraw but subject to 500$ a month and 3000$ overall lifetime....till you verify
3. Yes, you can send money to other accounts but only upto 100$ until you verify

You can get your account verified by getting Virtual Credit Card aswell. HDFC Account holders can make Unlimited VCC and there are forums where they sell it for 4-6$.

So if I don't get verified, even I can keep getting money in my PayPal account. Will my money be safe there? or they hv any time limit to keep the money in unverified accounts?

I have never heard about time limit in paypal. As per I know, there is no time limit.

There are no limits...per se but Paypal is known for playing tricks. They sometimes limit the account and your funds are locked until you complete some conditions like...i had to do some long time back

1. Change Password
2. Confirm Email
3. FAX my Driver License, Passport or any identity Bill
4. Fax a Utility Bill etc

There is actually a site called paypalsucks.com but Remember, Paypal can limit accounts even when its verified....but less chances there
