what usage of file having Ext. *.CBF?

what usage of file having Ext. *.CBF in sys?

i have found 2 files in my PC with this extentions,

it will crash sys if i delete it?

.. I think it must be some application specific file extension which the program would have left behind during install/uninstall & failed to clean after the process.
