Angry Serious System Problem- Unable to diagnose.

Hey guys , I am having a very serious problem with my system. I could not diagnose the exact problem. I Cannot determine if its a hardware or software problem.

Goes like this. When ever working on my system suddenly hangs completely.. If I reset the system or press power button for say 5 sec, then the system powers down, switching on back I will just get a black screen , the monitor wont comeout of standby nor there is any HDD activity. Switching off the main supply and after waiting for some time ( like 30 seconds ) , the system will boot.

I after this I noticed that I get a message for 1 or 2 seconds with a message "Resetting BOOT Drivers...." I guess its a message from my GFX card. later XP load very well untill I start to work on it again . Is it a hardware problem or a software problem? I cannot diagnose the problem correctly

I had installed Opera 9.24 but I dont think its the problem .. cause my system even hangs if I browser with FF or IE , but Im guessing its happening either disk or network activity. I used Gusty Live section but my system did not freeze. HDD problem?

I think u stoped some services... if so, enable them... once i faced this type of problem while tweaking for better speed but after tweaking i had the similar problem
so it might be possible that some of ur services wants to run and u ve disabled them
thats y its happening
am not sure abt it but check once
