Dvd Not Running

My lappy with windows vista ,runs cds well but fails to play dvd (any type data or media ),
is there is a solution for this problem ,
please help me out

may be problem with the dvd player take ur lappy to nearest service center

you can do only one thing.Clean lense of ROM.But that will also not work.Better visit service center of your laptop.I am scare , you may need to replace it with a new one.

Is the dvd burner bundled with the laptop?Or you bought it seperately?If you bought it seperately then maybe vista dosnt support your dvd burner.chek it by downloading the vista upgrade advisor from microsoft website.
