Default Activating Standby/hibernate Option In Lenovo


Hello Guys I Got Lenovo 204822q Lappy Frm My Bschool Can Any One Tell Me How To Activate Standby/hibernate Mode There Was Link In This Forum I M Unable To Search It, Plz Provide Me With Link, And Wimax As U All Know Is New Wireless Standard Which Is Comming In India, Are Wimax Enabled Routers Or Access Points Availiable In Mumbai, If Yes Wht Is The Cost And R They Backward Compatible.thanks

Wait dear..dont be in hurry..Wi-max technology is still to come in action.And I dont think , hardware required is available anywhere in India.

I am assuming you are using XP. You can enable hibernate mode from control panel:
Start->Control Panel-> Power Options
Here click on Hibernate tab & select Enable Hibernation.

To get Hibernate option after clicking Shut Down, press & hold 'Shift' on keyboard if Standby option is displayed.

If you do not get Standby option then all drivers might not be properly installed.
