I am thinking of buying ASUS EN8600GT/HTDI/256M. Can anyone give me the exact price and will it be enough to handle the latest games like bio shock and nfs pro street?

At max settings, no it wont. I have 8600 Gt and bioshock plays around medium at 1024x768. Go for 8800GT 320 MB.

why is there so much price difference between 8600GT and 8800GT? Will it be reasonable to invest so much?
and one thing more what should i check from my motherboard before putting the GC.. like what configuration?

yeah, the 8800GT is waaaay more powerful than the 8600GT.

But insted of spendin so much cash on a GPU, get an X360!.

Ya thats a option but again there is difference btween x360 price and a graphic card.... No body is ready to finance me
Anyway x360 is better with a HD TV and that i dont have now..
