Question Paypal confusion

I very much confused about this. I have few Pounds and few $ in my Paypal account.

So how do I withdraw the money, do I have to pay the fees for withdrawing $ and Pound seperately, or first convert everything to $ and then withdraw??

Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also if I open the Pound currency then will the $ I recieve automatically be converted into Pounds? And with or without fees?

Thanks..

1. You can withdraw only from USD, so you have to convert the pound to USD.

2. If your account is US, you can ask for a debit card and can use it at any ATM.

If your account is India, ask for a cheque (theres some min amount requirement). I think they introduced - withdraw cash to Visa card (credit/debit/prepaid) for Indians, but first you need to check whether your card is eligible for that.

Incorrect! Unverified accounts have 2 limits

1. You cannot send money more than 100$ lifetime till you verify
2. You cannot withdraw more than 500$ a month subject to 3000$ overall

thanks alot. My question was answered by ravi_9793. Sukhdeep Singh too gave me another important information. Let me try now if i can verify my account without a bank details,

seems difficult to get verified without a cc. I have a bank account at State bank of India with international atm (with mastero logo), as no icic, hdfc etc... in my area. Is there anyway to get verified.

Indian Accounts dont need BAnk Account for verification, Just a CC verification......

As for verification, some people actually sell Virtual Credit Cards for Paypal Verfication on forums

@shyamno

As far as I know when you upgrade from personal to business / premier account, or you start a business / premier account directly, the sending limit is $0.00. Yes, you need to verify using a credit card.

Some other suggestions.

There are people offering virtual credit card etc. They may work too. But as far as possible, get your credit / debit card, attach it with paypal and make everything in a nice manner. Using some other people's credit card or virtual credit card is not a good way. Paypal ask us to verify or attach credit card is not just that, they do verify the physical address etc too by that. Do things in a legal / better way.

Regarding credit cards.

ICICI, HDFC etc credit cards can be used to verify Indian paypal accounts. Most of the Indian debit cards will not work.

Cash withdrawal from paypal.

Best way is to request a cheque form paypal. Also paypal allow users to withdraw funds to Visa cards (debit or credit). All cards may not be supported, but give it a try. Some details here -

http://pages.ebay.com.sg/sea/paypal/withdraw.html

Bank Account

Adding a US bank account will help and that is another way of withdrawing funds. It is not a mandatory thing for any country, but optional.

And the final note - Always go legal, the right way and do not play tricks and paypal will be best for you.

I have checked the above links...and one thing was mentioned that

Quote:
Withdrawal Limits:

No minimum or maximum amount limit for VERIFIED PayPal accounts.
Maximum limit of US$500 per month for UNVERIFIED PayPal accounts.
but being an unverified user my withdrawal limit is being limited to $0.00
so how is that possible....that maximum limit of US$500 per month for unverified paypal users.....

If that's the case then unverified users can't withdraw any funds....and ultimately they need to be verified.
