Default How to Format????????????

[b]

HOW DO I FORMAT A HARD DISK THAT DOES NOT MATCH MY PC's CONFIGURATION

FOR EXAMPLE:

THE HARD DISK WAS INSTALLED WITH "ATI RADEON" DRIVERS AND MY ME HAS "H.I.S MOTHERBOARD" WITH INBUILT DISPLAY CARD

THUS THIS WAY EVEN IF I REMOVE MY H.D.D AND CONNECT THE OTHER H.D.D THAT I WANT TO FORMAT TO MY PC,,, I ASUME THAT IT WON'T START ,,, CAUSING SOME PROBLEM TO MY PC

HUH ?
man .... im really confused ( questions like this can do that )
dud u wanna format ...
just boot from ur os cd and format the darn thing
or get a dos bootable floppy and do it via fdisk !

formatting is probably the simplest thing anyone can do with a computer !

i still dun get why u wanna format tho
just reinstall the os over the current installation !
ull loose all the configuration but ur data will be safe .. and u can install ur drivers again !!

even better just uninstall the installed ati drivers and use the mobo cd to install the requied drivers

Follow pradeep's suggestion, dont even remove your HDD or if you insist on it, dont boot from the hard disk, but from a startup disc/bootable CD and then run the format command on the hard disk from that.

Hi
My opinion is that u get a good and a error free Boot disc (Floppy). And then format the HDD u want.

Get the BOOT DISC contents here.....

http://ephemeral-designs.com/downloads/boot98se.exe

And make sure ur floppy is without any bad sectors....
