Buying Computer

Hey friends,

Tell me that if I my computer parts and than later joined them is it a good idea. Means I buy XFX6800 Graphics card,512 RAM,AMD Althon 64 motherboard, laser mouse, monitor(suggest me a nice company monitor), creative speakers + woofer.DVD writer

Will it cost me more than if I buy full computer

Please help me out
