How to ..... Pls its urgent

Hi guys

I have installed xp professional and other essential softwares like drivers antivirus in a Pc . Now i want to install same thing without going through same process again (like putting antivirus cd then drivers cds ) in 10 different pc with exactly same configuration at the same time . How would i do it . Will norton Ghost help? or there is any other software .

In Short i want make image of the Drive C and install it in 10 different computers

can i do that

Ya Norton Ghost works by making an image of your windows directory. and by confioguring your HDD later you can create partion and can format the same by using windows utiliy.

AFAIK, that will not work efficiently on diff pcs

as long as all the pcs have same ( i mean exactly the same) hardware, there wldnt be any prob.

ya different pc has different hardware and if install from NG then only those drivers ll be uploaded which is in image...

so i suggest u to make a xp with all driver packs and all ur required s.w in it by slipstreaming

If hardware in all pc is exactly the same,the NG method should work.You can also use driveimage xml a freeware to do it.

but is there ne tut which might hlp to create a XP dvd which installs all the drivers and a few softwares while installing XP....

Well...to use Image by Norton Ghost or any other software...you must have the same hardware in all your 10 pcs......

Best way for you is to slipstream softwares which you want in every pc....and just run the setup....you can use nlite for this purpose...

Just use any disk imaging utility. Like acronics true image. its creates an 'image' of any partition/drive that can be used as a backup.

I wld suggest using hiren's boot cd . it has several disk imaging tools some are free some are not..
