Thumbs down Facing Big Problem on PC


I don't know why my PC was showing an error, first error comes on Vista and second comes on XP. I have format both OS, but still it is showing.

The error automatically comes on blue screen and it is showing

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer

"PFN_List_Corrupt"
.................................................. ..
.................................................. .....""""

It also showing if the error was continuosly showing than disable the BIOS checking cache and etc etc. "


I don't know where to disable the cache checking on BIOS. please help

the problem is comes on hardware ??

Seems to be a Graphics card/Driver issue. Check this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291806

If possible, get a MiniDump and upload it.

i have 2 Ram 256 + 512 MB DDR Ram, if i remove one ram from slot than the ram size will decrease and my program will be run slow. There is any way to fix these problem.

abe its obvious if u remove ram, then software will work a little slow...

This is RAM problem. As you have posted , you have two RAM set.So, try with one RAM one by one.I think U can detect the faulty RAM.

May be his both Ram is of different brand and differenrt fsb

brand doesn't matter.
Also FSB should not matter.Higher FSb will work on lower RAM FSB.

It is definately an Hardware problem and the thing first comes is that of a RAM.
Their might be a problem in the RAM FSB or the motherboard might not be supporting the ram or the ram might be faulty

Chek first for the Faulty ram by individually plugging in the ram one by one.

Next if okey then go for the FSB check if it differs then go and have the right compatible one.

Or you might just clean he RAM slots and the RAM leads with air blower or a brush it might be a dusting problem.
