dns error

when i open IE after connecting net it gives a message, "couldnot open page". and at the address bar message comes up "......dns server error.htm"

what is the solution ?

I dunno for sure !

But it might be what the Message says!
The DNS or domain naming service might not be able to handle the requests passed by ur browser !

In the network connection set the dns to that of your service provider i.e. go to the dial up connection properties networking tcpip properties and there set the dns IP for both the primary and the secondary dns thats it open up a command shell and ping the dns ip if you get a reply thats it your problem is solved.
