Default Design magazine pages

hey guys,

i have a problem. My aunt is publishing a magazine for which she wants me to create the page layout and all the things which need to be in a regular magazine. So can you guys suggest a software where i can create the pages easily!!!

you can use microsoft publisher for amateur page layout design. for gfx you can use the free and yet powerful GIMP.
