Unable to See "Local Settings" Folder

I am unable to see the "Local Settings" folder in 'My Documents' even after choosing the option of seeing hidden files and folders. I can't even find it with the 'Search' option. What has happened????? and what is the solution????? Plz help.

where Username stands for your profile username

Probably I was vague in putting forth my problem. I am aware where to locate the 'Local Settings' folder, but now I am not able to 'see' it, not even through 'Search' from the 'Start' menu. I think it has happened after I installed ZoneAlarm and Ad-Aware SE personal. Is it in any way related to this action???
