hey buddy!
hi there! actually i have some videos in the avi format. the thing i hate the most is that when i store them on the cd or dvd they dont play on any other computer. i have to first convert them into another format. cant i just p[lay in avi while i store it up on dvds or cds also.

the problem is the codec uve used to encode it
u need the divx/xvid codec installed in every machine u try to play it in

Yes! when u burn the CD/DVD u should also burn the divx encoder / or anyother encoder with it. Then there will be no problem. if it is not playing just install the codec. and ur done!
