have created psd files & saved them also ...
bt after saving & closing them ...
next time when i open them, history has vanished ...
can u save history along with its respective psd file for use in a later editing session ???

i don't think it is possible.
Give one good reason to save the history along with the file

what u said is impossble . either u just saved the file as psd without using any tools or need to bring up the history from winows menu..

You can save the history in Photoshop...
Just goto Edit-- Preferences -- general...
And at the very bottom there is a option of saving history in a text file...

Edit-- Preferences -- general...
And at the very bottom there is a option of saving history in a text file...
i use version 7 ...

That's what it is... You can also save the history in the metatags of the file you are saving...
It doesn't bring the history back on te pallete but you will remember what you did ...
