This post is regarding a so called "flame war" which happened a week back, as labeled by a mod here that goes by the name of Shantanu. You can follow the thread here.

1. First things first, I didn't know (and wouldn't bother to know) that you're the maintenance personnel here. Even in my own house, I'm not inquisitive enough to make myself acquainted with the many servants and maids that come and go. Working in an MNC, I do have big priority list, which has very little space for trivial items like this.

2. With respect to that, when you asked us to stop posting any further in that thread, I took it for granted that you're one of those Mac lovers adding to the conversation. Correct me if I'm wrong, can you tell me what part of your post (preceding the one quoted above) indicates that you're a mod? Even if you are a mod, could you not have come across a little more professionally? With a simple statement like "Please stop posting to this thread? - Mod." That would have been far more meaningful and easy to interpret than your subliminal expressions, don't you think?

3. Do you really feel that not being able to post in these forums for a week is misery? I sincerely believe it's not. As a matter of fact, I was happy that this happened, as it led me to discovering another great resource, brimming with knowledgeable people and great hardware guides. It's US centric alright, but the community is great, highly knowledgeable and much larger.

4. Can you tell me what part of my post was offensive? I have serious doubts regarding that. I've seen posts here which are far worse when it comes to the tone maintained in the conversation, and the language etiquette used. I'm not even taking into account the grammatically incorrect, semantically inexpressive "illiterate" village-like English used. Why don't you publish it and get some public opinions? Maybe that will help dispel your doubts.

well mate most forums use "Spken English" rather than "Written Englisg" , and if you speak english , you might know that English(or for that matter any Language) is spoken in terms of "Idead units" and not "sentences" ! So in spoken ENglish you string together a collection of "Idea Units" and speak them , the only criteria is that they should be comprehensible not necessarily grammatically correct .

When I first read godling's tread, I thought I'd reply to it.. word for word, but then as I continued to read further, I was glad to see so many of you support Shantanu. It vindicates our faith in him.

So what if we don't speak articulate English, does this mean we are children of a lesser God? I beg to differ.

I can't find the reason why Godling made such comments on me, when he was given a weeks misery.. I followed Forum rules. Everyone here is same.. i am no one to differentiate..

Well, i find my mistake as giving more & more time to forum..

and this forum is run by members.. if members think i should not be a MOD.. then please, let know the admins and i am ready to leave moderation.. that will in no way decrease my gratitude and commitment towards the forum..
