Hey people ...

I have an account with paypal ( www.paypal.com ) ... I stay in India

Can anyone tell me how can i withdraw actually trasfer money ... from paypal to india ..

They send the withdrawl money by cheque but when u deposit the check at banks 25% of the amount is gone as a result of transactions ...

So is there any alternative way ( that cost very much less ) to transfer money from paypal to indian bank account or DD etc etc ..

I dont think atleast the charge 25% for clearance anyway wait for others to comment to..

paypal has started a service for transfer to banks in india
for <6,999 50rs
and >7000 free

Yes, now their are three ways to withdraw money
1) By cheque
2) Visa money transfer at your visa credit card.
3) Directly to your bank account

Paypal send cheque in Indian currency, I never faced any cheque clearance charges. I deposit my cheque in my ICICI banck account. Whereas HDFC charge Rs 56/- for cheque clearance.
