Apple sucks!!!!

I hav an iPOD nano 2 GB silver 2nd generation. I bought it around 6 months back from Berlin airport duty free shop.One of my friends bought an exactly same model from Alfa,Irla,Mumbai.
We have the exactly same firmware and itunes software version,exactly same settings and the same file was played on both the ipods.There was a huge difference in the sound output. His is considerably louder than mine.We even tried resetting all settings. Volume limiter is disabled on both of them.Even the eq is the same.We tried exchanging the earphones(both stock) and even hooked up to my Hi-Fi system.His ipod is really louder and clearer than mine.What must be the problem??


How can there be such a huge difference in quality from a big brand like Apple?Both are assembled in china.

Apple being so huge company still has so lame quality control dept.
What should I do????

arre dude we tried the same pair of ephones on both then changed them too. We even used a Sony Hi-Fi 2600 watt system to test them. mine sounds lamer than his.
